Getting started with therapy can sometimes feel challenging. So, here is what the first of steps usually look like.
First Steps:
Contact Me:
You will want to reach out to me through the contact form or send me an email.
Consultation Call:
We will set up a free 10-15 minute consultation call for us to determine what type of therapy you are looking for, I’ll give you an over-view of the treatment I provide and, answer questions you might have, then we will talk through scheduling and treatment fees.
Not every therapist is a fit and if we determine that we are not a fit for each other, I will be happy to provide a referral for you.

I am in-network with Aetna and Blue Cross Blue Shield. I am also able to provide superbills for my out-of-network clients to help with reimbursements. I also offer a few sliding scale time slots for people who may be in need of them. I would be happy to talk you through the process.
For out-of network clients, below are a few questions to ask your insurance company:
What is the reimbursement rate for billing codes 90834 and 90837?
What is the out-of-network deductible?
How many sessions does my insurance cover per year?
Is prior approval or authorization needed?
What is the address or fax number to send claims?

Fist Session:
(Virtual or In-person)Our first session is the chance for us to get to know each other and I will ask you questions to help me understand what brings you to therapy and your life experiences.
After working through the intake questionnaire and providing you with a summary of the treatment being provided, we will set treatment goals and being treatment.
